Hedge Trimming, Pruning & Planting
Pruning is the part of gardening that rewards knowledge most and punishes guesswork hardest. Cut the right plant at the wrong time and you lose a year of flowers; cut it well and you get a healthier, fuller, better-shaped plant. We prune to the plant, not the calendar of convenience.

Hedges kept crisp and healthy
We trim formal hedges to clean, even lines and maintain informal ones for health and density, cutting at the right time so you don't disturb nesting birds or weaken the plant. Tall hedges, reductions and reshaping are all part of the work, with the clippings cleared away.
Pruning that improves the plant
Roses, fruit trees, wisteria, shrubs and climbers each have a right time and a right technique. We prune to encourage flowering, fruiting and good structure rather than just reducing size, so plants come back stronger rather than stressed.
Planting chosen to thrive
New planting succeeds or fails on plant choice and soil prep. We pick plants suited to each bed's light and soil, prepare the ground, plant properly and mulch, so your investment establishes instead of sulking and dying back.
